The department of financial studies organised a panel discussion on state budget 2017 on 9th March 2017 for the students of B.com and B.com (H). Mr. Akash Pathak, Dy.Director, Department of Economics & Statistics ,Mr. Lakshman Legha, District Coordinator, RYVP, Miss Sonam Saini, District Coordinator, RYVP, Miss Rashmi Pareek, District Coordinator, RYVP, Mr. Subham Sharma, RYVP Brand Ambassador were the eminent guests for the same. The head of the department of the financial studies Dr Ruchi Jain and the Placement officer Dr. Shivi Saxena welcomed the guests. They threw light on the Rajasthan Budget 2-17 and awakened the students of the Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Programme launched by the Government of Rajasthan recognising the Power of Youth. The students showed active participation in understanding the intricacies of the budget. Specific sections like: women and youth development, small business management, medical and health, digitialization, road and transport, safety and public security were elucidated to the students. The vision of the government to involove the youth in the development of the state and how the students can be part of this team was put in plain words.
