On completion of this course, the students will be able to

 

  1. Familiarize themselves with the regulator bodies of capital market
  2. Evaluate the legal aspects of depositories and depositories participants
  3. Open the depository account and understand the operations of various depository participants including clearing corporations
  4. Acquire practical aspects of trading, clearing and settlement procedure.
  5. Develop an understanding about the operations of special depository services in India

 Micro and Macro Economics; Positive and Normative Economics;
 Central Problems of an Economy, Production Possibility Curve and Opportunity Cost;
 Working of Economic Systems (Capitalistic Economy, Socialistic Economy, Mixed Economy); Economic Cycles, Inflation and Recession.

Total Utility and Marginal Utility;Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility; Law of Equi-Marginal Utility;
 Consumers’ Equilibrium; Law of Demand and Elasticity of Demand; Law of Supply, Elasticity of Supply; Demand and Supply Equilibrium;
 Theory of Consumer Behaviour – Marshallian Approach and Indifference Curve Approach.
