Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Investigate relevant areas to identify research problems and propose further scope of study
  2. Evaluate the existing literature to gain conceptual knowledge on the broader area of research.
  3. Formulate research problem that provides direction for research study.
  4. Frame hypothesis and devise research plan for conducting the research.
  5. Articulate research methodology and application to resolve the stated problem.
  6. Develop a research plan proposal on the selected study topic.

CONTENTS:

Students have to select a topic of dissertation in consultation with the respective Head of the department, and prepare a synopsis. Evaluation will be done on the basis of the synopsis submitted to the respective Head of the department along with a PowerPoint presentation by the student.
