Dissertation:Synopsis Presentation

(Practical)

The students will be able to –

CO67.  Investigate relevant areas to identify research problems and for the selection of scope of study.

CO68.  Evaluate the existing literature to gain conceptual knowledge on the broader area of research.

CO69.  Develop a topic of research and work plan that provides context and direction for the dissertation.

CO70.  Articulate research methodology and application to resolve the stated problem and produce a proposal.

CO71.  Choose appropriate techniques of data collection and statistical measures.

Approach in teaching:

Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, review of literature, web links for reading materials

 

Learning activities for the students:

Field activities, Presentation, Giving tasks on review of literature and other sources

Review of Work ,Semester end examinations, Plan Proposal report, Class Presentation

 

Students have to select a topic of dissertation in consultation with the respective Head of the department, and prepare a synopsis. Evaluation will be done on the basis of the synopsis submitted to the respective Head of the department along with a PowerPoint presentation by the student.
