On completion of this course, the students will be able to:

  1. CO: Analyze and evaluate case studies and reports on export and import items of India, showcasing advanced analytical skills in assessing the trends, challenges, and opportunities in international trade, and demonstrating the ability to generate insights and recommendations based on the findings.
  2. CO: Engage in class discussions and practical exercises, such as filling international trade-related documents and performas, demonstrating advanced application and comprehension skills in understanding and accurately completing the required documentation for international trade transactions.
  3. CO: Evaluate and critically analyze the strategies adopted in future and option markets, demonstrating advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills in assessing the risks, benefits, and implications of using these financial instruments in international trade, and proposing appropriate strategies.
  4. CO: Understand the concept of basket currencies and analyze different types of basket currencies, their features, and the present exchange rate dynamics, showcasing advanced comprehension and analysis skills in understanding the complexities of currency markets and their impact on international trade.
  5. CO: Apply advanced analytical skills in analyzing and solving case studies related to export-import finance, showcasing the ability to assess complex financing scenarios, evaluate risk factors, and propose suitable financial solutions in international trade transactions.
