On completion of this course, the students will be able to

  1.  Apply different valuation models to evaluate fixed income securities, stocks, and employ them to manage their investment risks.
  2. Identify, analyze and draw reasoned conclusions in selecting and presenting information on securities based on Fundamental analysis.
  3.  Analyze and look at daily stock price movement by studying charts and patterns and make investment decisions thereafter.
  4.  Investigating various methods used to calculate stock market  indices and explore details about world’s stock exchanges and their indices.
  5.  Compute stock indices applying different methodologies

Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Practical cases Demonstration, Power point presentation.
