Objective: 

The course will enable students to -

The students will be able to –

 

CO45: Perform common parametric and non-parametric tests

CO46: Perform simple regressions and multivariate analysis.

CO47: Interpret results produced by statistical software

CO48: Define, formulate and solve problems in a systematic approach

Parametric Tests- t-test: One Sample, Independent Sample, Paired t test.

Analysis of variance: Assumptions of One Way ANOVA, Testing for differences in mean between the group, Measure of Association, Assumption of Two way ANOVA, Procedure for Testing Two Way ANOVA.

Non Parametric Tests: Mann Whitney U test, Wilcoxon Signed ranks test, Kruskal Wallis Test, Friedman Test.
Chi square Test: Test of Independence, 2x2 Cross tabulation, Layered cross tab, Goodness of fit.
