Department of Financial Studies IIS(Deemed to be University ),JAIPUR had organized a Session on “Career in Financial Service Sector”.On 20Th April 2022 .The guest speaker was Mr. Rohan Sharma , lead trainer , centre for Investment education and learning (CIEL) Bajaj Finserve.
The speaker started the session by introducing the company (BAJAJ FINSERV ) its history , services offered and various CSR activities undertaken by the company.
He also talked about the reasons why students are not selected in the interviews and why a GAP exists in the industry expectation and what universities offer. He talked about the importance of factors like communication skills, confidence ,attitude and practical knowledge and how to improve upon them.
He further talked about a CSR initiative BEYOND undertaken by BAJAJ FINSERVE
Which is 96 hour certificate programme on BANKING FINANCE AND INSURANCE where candidates are trained in soft skills and knowledge related to banking and insurance .It will be a certificate programme including five modules on managing self , communication skills ,overview of banking , overview of insurance and an HR workshop. The programme will be conducted in hybrid mode(60 hours offline and 36 hours online) for the students of the university .

The session was very interesting and informative and students showed keen interest in the certificate programme.
