Report on Extension Activity- Financial E-literacy

An extension activty was organised by the department of financial studies on 3rd March 2017, Dadabadi Basti, sanganer Jaipur. Students of Financial Studies, Semester six and four made an active participation. The main objective of the activity was to create awareness amongst the residents of the basti about the major financial trasactional changes taking place in the society in the realm of demonatization and advent of ebanking and mobile banking. Students made a thorugh presence in the basti by spreading the message through a nukkad natak on demonatization. They interacted with the residents of the basti and explained them the procedures of connectiing their bank account with the mobile phones, usage of paytm, opening of bank account etc. The students also heared their general issues related to finances and saving and gave applicable suggestions. The activity turned out to be a successful event with the help of the major coordinators of the activity, Dr. Ruchi Jain, Dr.Anju Singh and Ms. Daksha Pathak.
