The Department of Financial Studies organized a Guest lecture on “Know Our Capital Market” on 25th August 2015 in the A.V. Hall of the University for B.Com students . The speaker for the respective session was Mr. Ishu Tayal Regional Incharge (BSE) Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Sir has been associated with BSE as a 'Regional Incharge Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan' from last 5 Years total Experience in Capital market 6 years.having a responsibility of Developing BSE market share in cash Equity,Equity Derivatives,Currency Derivatives,Mutual Funds etc.

In this session students learnt basics of stock market and also gained knowledge about the working of stock market. Various methods of investing were also discussed about. It was an interactive and two way session where various queries of students were also resolved by Sir Ishu Tayal.

The lecture countinued with a Career Counselling Session where in the speaker Mr. Ishu Tayal imparted knowledge amongst the students about making a  career in Stock Market and Banking. Students got to know about various job opportunities in the said field, eligibility, how to prepare for various career opportunities in the field, what are the best ways to crack the relevant exams, how to prepare for those exams, what is the best time to start preparing for the said fields. Moreover details for some prominent positions like that of Investment Banker, Personal Financial Advisor, Market Data Compliance Analyst were thrown light upon. The speaker himslef shared his contact  details with the student group and offered them assistance  for making a career in the field. We on behalf of the university thank you sir.
