Guest Lecture on Recent Trends in Banking

Jaipur, 31-August-2016 Time- 9:30am-10:30am A guest lecture was organised by Financial Studies department at The IIS University on 30-August-2016, on the topic-"Recent trends in Banking'. The purpose was to enhance the skills of the students and make them aware about banking procedures. The lecture was conducted by Miss.Priyanka Srivastava who is an operations head at Axis Bank ltd. from past 10 years. The session was very interactive and innovative. She spread her knowledge over various aspects of ongoing trends in banking sector. She also discussed some more important points of banking sector such as: role of non-traditional players of banking, continuous focus on innovative investments, focus on financial inclusion, leveraging digital technologies to enhance customer experience and traditional focus on analytics on reporting requirements. The session was very interesting and knowledge. Additionally, she also motivated the students to appear in banking field for interaction. The lecture was a huge success and she thanked the group for being patient listeners which concluded the session.
