Visit to SEBI

The Department of Financial Studies organized a visit to Securities & Exchange Board of India on 28th August 2015. Students were accompanied by two faculty members, Dr. Meenakshi Anand(Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Financial Studies) and Dr. Anju Singh Choudhary (Assistant Professor, Department of Financial Studies).

The students gained knowledge regarding the financial initiatives and Startup Ideas towards effective saving. Various ways of managing funds and investing ventures were also the highlighting features of the visit. SEBI officials also imparted the students,  knowledge about the working of stock markets and enlighten various other associated factors. Job opportunities in this field were also discussed about.

The visit was a good experience for students and helped them to gain better knowledge of the respective field.
